A Possible causes range from rare effects of immunization, stress, thyroid condition or even your own body rejecting your hair. This can happen when your own white blood cells attack the hair follicles by mistake.

A It very often can start as alopecia areata (hair loss in patches). Onset can happen gradually.

A Men, women and children.

A There are lots of treatments available, but they are different for everyone.

6.Do treatments work?

A There are no proven treatments, but research is going on all the time.
